Happy Valentine's Day

I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I hope you each felt loved today. The Nestola family spent time together in the snow today. We had fun shoving our baby girl down a big hill to fend for herself. Okay... we went sledding and she insisted on going down the slope by herself. I even rode on her sled with her. I don't think I have ever taken the opportunity to sled before so this is my first time. We had so much fun. When it was over Kalynn was so tired... well, just check out the pictures to see how tired she was. (In the photo gallery). I will try to post a video or two on the blog tomorrow. Cute stuff.

Below is a photo of Kalynn and her "best friend" from school, Amalie, on Kalynn's sled. She was so happy to see Amalie at "The Hill"!

Earth, Wind, Fire, Water

Kalynn's class has been studying Wind/Air for a couple of weeks (they just finished up 'fire' and she loved that). They have been, of course, centering their activities around the theme of Air. One of the things they have been doing is this little rhyme. It is in German. Do not ask me to translate as all that I do these days is listen for my name! She getting better and better with the language. (And yes she is in her pj's.)
